The engraving process is shown in the figure below. The main processing objects of CNC engraving machine are text, pattern, texture, small complex surface, thin-walled parts, small precision parts, irregular art relief surface, etc. these objects are characterized by small size, complex shape and fine finished product requirements. CNC engraving can only be and must be processed with small cutters.

The characteristics of CNC engraving machine are complex patterns, rich details, unique shapes and fine finished products. To achieve such processing requirements, it is necessary to use a small-sized tool as the basic processing tool, and the tip of the engraving tool is less than 0.5mm or even less than 0.1mm. It is one of the most basic features of CNC engraving to use a small tool for engraving. Carving products have high dimensional accuracy and good consistency. The carving process is shown in the figure below.
