CNC engraving machine includes stone engraving machine, advertising engraving machine, glass engraving machine, laser engraving machine, woodworking engraving machine, plasma engraving machine and laser cutting machine, but they all have similar characteristics. Take advertising engraving machine for example, CNC engraving machine can be divided into two categories: low-power engraving machine and high-power engraving machine.

Small power engraving machine refers to the engraving machine with small engraving motor power (generally 80-200w). Due to its small engraving motor power, it can only be used for fine machining with less cutting surface each time. For example: chest card, sand table model, surface processing of handicrafts, etc.

High power engraving machine refers to the engraving machine with engraving motor power over 700W. This kind of engraving machine can be used for low-power engraving or high-power engraving. For example: making crystal characters, all kinds of advertising signs, irregular blanking and forming of plates, processing of artificial stone, etc. Because of its high power, 30mm thick plexiglass can be cut off at a time or high-power molding carving can be carried out with a molding knife.

Working principle of CNC engraving machine:
A special design and typesetting software is installed in the general microcomputer of the CNC engraving machine to design and typeset the graphics and characters, automatically generate the machining path information, transfer the tool path data to the single-chip microcomputer through the USB interface or other data transmission interface, the CNC system receives the tool path data, completes a series of functions such as display and user interaction, and then uses a specific algorithm to input the data The path information of the engraving machine is transformed into the numerical control information. The controller transforms the information into the signal (pulse train) driving the stepping motor or servo motor, and controls the cutting of the X, y and Z axes of the engraving machine. At the same time, milling can carve out all kinds of plane or three-dimensional graphics and characters designed on the computer, and realize carving automation.
