When it comes to the difference between laser engraving machine and numerical control engraving machine, the most obvious difference is that laser engraving machine uses laser melting method to engrave, and numerical control engraving machine uses digital technology to control cutting tool or laser head and ultrasonic head engraving. Laser engraving machine can be CNC engraving machine. CNC engraving machine can also install laser head for engraving, so the two are intersecting. The following tells you the specific difference between laser engraving machine and CNC engraving machine.

Although both of them use CNC system, they work in different ways and have different mechanical structures. In contrast, the structure of CNC engraving machine is relatively simple. Through the control of computer numerical control system, the engraving machine automatically chooses suitable engraving tools and engraves on the x, y and Z axes of the machine.

According to the specific use, the laser engraving machine is divided into different special machines. The structure of the special machines is roughly the same. The laser source emits laser, and the numerical control system controls the laser plug stepper motor, so that the laser head, mirror, lens and other optical elements can be moved, so that the focus can be moved on the X, Y, Z axis of the machine tool, so that the material can be ablated.

The biggest difference between laser engraving machine and CNC engraving machine is that the tool of laser engraving machine is a complete set of optical elements, while the tool of CNC engraving machine is the engraving knife of various entities.

1: Laser engraving and polishing once and numerical control twice.

2: The diameter of laser beam is only 0.01mm, the numerical control tool is 20 times larger, and the waste is wasted.

3: Laser speed is fast, laser speed is 2.5 times faster than CNC engraving machine.

4: Laser energy consumption is lower than CNC engraving machine.

5: Laser is noise-free, pollution-free and efficient; CNC machine tools are noisy and polluting the environment.

6: Laser is non-contact, does not need to fix the workpiece, NC is contact processing, workpiece is fixed.

8: Laser can process soft materials, such as cloth, leather, film, etc. CNC can not process, because the workpiece can not be fixed.

Therefore, the advantages of laser engraving machine are more and more widely used in advertising signs, plexiglass products, garment processing, leather processing, product identification and other industries.
